Terry Sarchuk

Terry Sarchuk was raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba and she is a graduate of Carleton University (1993 Master of Arts-Public Administration). After a long career with the Federal government in Winnipeg and Ottawa, Terry began a second career as a visual artist in 2004. She started with instruction in watercolour, acrylic and oil from several experienced artists and teachers throughout the region. In 2007 she opened Studio Sarchuk in Stittsville. Her vibrant, colourful and sometimes detailed works received an enthusiastic response at the studio opening.

Terry is an intuitive painter of abstract art. Her work reflects inner feeling rather than the outer world, with a particular focus on emotional expression.

Terry Sarchuk’s work has been seen at various venues in the Ottawa region. She is a regular contributor to the owaa Gallery and a member of the Stittsville Artists Studio Tour. Her work is showcased at Studio Sarchuk. Call (613)298-4377 or see www.studiosarchuk.ca.
